Think there might be a few including myself![]()
There is a condition known as SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) where people are known to have their mood affected and even suffer from depression when the days become shorter and weather turns gloomy.
So are you one of those that suffers with MAD (Millers Affective Disorder) where once August rolls around you annually descend into a state of malaise and start kicking the cat/dog/wife/kids? Quite a few on here have reported health issues recently, although that might be due to the advancing years of most of us
I thought I'd ask this question as we have a resident medical expert on here, although from an earlier post it looks like he might have succumbed to MAD himself![]()

MAD millers are daft
I'm not mad but am a bit nostalgic.
Those bygone days when there were no forums, social media etc etc.
I'd have gone in the local tonight and had a discussion with a few lads about our poor showing on deadline day, not that there was one in the bygone era.
These days there's too many positive people going head to head with the pessimists. Throw in a few scallywags looking for a reaction. Its all too full on nowadays.
Twenty years ago we wouldn't have known what had happened in full detail until we bought the Green Un on Saturday.
That said, I am smarting at the I told you so folk ramming it down our positive throats.
Still fair play, every dog has its day...

Without doubt riley, the instances of MAD have increased many fold since the onset of social media (an oxymoron if there ever was one) and message boards![]()
I'm mad I've just trapped my fingers in car door
Riley remember the football cartoons by Harry Heap in the Green-Un they were great told the story of a match in cartoon version.
