    Out goings /in comings

Press today and Stubbs was keeping quiet on the striker front (rightly so) but doesn't think much will happen this week.

Belaid is being considered to send out on loan

We know Dawson (probs not coming back) and Bailey-King are out on loan. A couple of more could go depending who we fetch in I suppose

    Interesting stuff.
I wonder if AS thinks Belaid isn't good enough or is considering sending him out on loan to rebuild his fitness after injury.
I guess the length of the loan will give us a clue.
I'm surprised at the Adam Armstrong comment although I would hope that any striker he brings in will be a permanent signing. Just bloody well get on with it!!

AS is playing bluff. Waiting till we're calling the shots.

Side we had out against Brentford apart from the Left back we could go with against Barsnsley. Brown will get up to speed, he's only young that helps. If Mattock is not fit or AS doesn't feel he's playing well enough need a L back in.

Striker will have some size about him. Armstrong, Newcastle will only let him go to a club that's going to play him regularly. We can't guarantee that.

Does that mean we tried to get Adam but failed? Hard to imagine who is left now that is any better at scoring? We'll need the best defence in this league if we don't get anyone in - running out of time and options?

Armstrong would walk into our first 11 - we are hardly awash with Champ standard forwards...

We are suppose to be interesed in two players from Prem on loan (let's not have too many loans) ones a defender, which might be a waste if we have a young defender on trial already (alleged) which would be permanent.

Let's hope the other is a striker.

I'll be glad when we have a settled team.

I'm glad AS is not talking about names it just gets in the supporters heads and then when it doesn't come off he gets criticism.

he knows we need a striker in but we need one who scores goals not just a big lump up front.

Hopefully when he gets him in it will be worth the wait.
