O/T: Old time Musical Hall favourites

Dear old Tone said get on the phone
And don't dilly dally all the day
Get me some strikers, the sky's the limit
The Premier League calls and we must be in it
But we dillied, we dallied, we dallied and we dillied
We lost our way and don't know where to go
    But don't let's worry and don't let's panic
Because we've still got dear old Tone.

Ah, The Good Old Days with Leonard Sachs, usually on BBC1 on a Thursday night around 9:25pm if I remember right.

Cheers, Cam. I thought it was quite a good post but then I'm rarely a good judge of these things. I suppose you have to know the original to sing along to. I'm just glad I didn't bother with the second verse. Dexter, Stubbsy and good old Tone might have sued.

Mrs CA is from Lambeth and I'm worried that she's currently teaching our Grandson to walk

Well, if she manages to succeed I'll put a word in for her with the light bulb king. A 3 year contract and she can do the job by phone from Seattle. Can't be any worse than the current jokers.
