Dare any player tell Stubbs what's wrong?

How about a player knocks on his door and says 'eh gaffer this ain't working' or will it be the fear he may never play again by stating the obvious?

Which bit is not working? Formation, line up. Scoring first, sitting back,

If the players feel like they need to address it then i'm sure they would go through Frecks as he is the captain.
Stubbs wouldn't dare drop Frecks, there would be uproar from the fans and the board alike.

Dantpen.... I'd already thought of that scenario... as leader he should say something if only about defence... then again he's been out that long does he have a say? I would say he has if he's been watching all the games from the stands...

Stubbs should respect a captains view as he's part management...

    Don't hold your breath though.

He's not exactly going to criticise the manager in public is he?

Maybe the players buy into what he's trying to do.

Scary I know but if that's the case they better start figuring out how to implement the plan into getting results.

BOTN…who mentioned criticising his manager in public? What I suggested as Captain.. Frecks may need to share the players views on formation with Stubbs…..that is not a bad thing…

If they are buying into what he's trying to do then they themselves are not up to the job going on results….or is it that they try but it's a crap formation?

Whilst Syeve Evans was in charge a group of players went to see TS regarding the way the players were being treat.

None of those players lasted too long at the club! That level has been set and the players know it!

Stubbs would deal with any of the players in the same way. Tony Stewart has already said in public that he will not interfear with the managers decisions! He will not be seen as picking the team for the manager as it would be wrong now and it would surely send the wrong message to any other manager he may want to employ.
