O/T Is there any horseracing men on here.

Gigginstown have removed 60 horses from Willie Mullins yard. Gordon Elliott has been given the honour of training 2 of the best. Don Poli & Apples Jade. The later, this his my tip is next years Champion Hurdler.

I'm not expecting a rush of posts to this thread. Racing men only please.

I did tip Don Popi in the gold cup. He's an out & out stayer. Would need soft ground. But if Don Cossack doesn't come back from injury got a chance. Could it be Willie Mullins didn't get Don Poli fully tuned up, he had in his mind better a better fancied horse on the day in Djakadam. Really fancy Apples Jade for the Champion Hurdle.

Really looking forward to it all starting up again.

LMAO. I'm sure he is, but I know exactly what you mean. I've mentioned this before, he always posts sentence fragments. I think he posts the way he talks, rather than in correct English.

Anyway, I'm quite a big horse racing fan gwru, though not as much as I used to be. I used to religiously watch races and read up on form, but it meant I would bet on too many races as well, and I try to be more prudent nowadays. The Cheltenham festival is always one of the highlights of the year for me. I'm like you, much prefer jumps racing to flat. I win far more often on jumps too. I haven't had a bet on the horses for a few weeks now, because I have probably only won 3 or 4 times out of the last 30 horses I have bet on, all over the flat. I'll start betting again once the jumps season gets going.
