If we beat SORRY when we beat Inverness on Wednesday night we would go two points clear of them with a game in hand so like every other game IMO one we can't afford to lose!

Not a bad afternoon.
Inverness 1 Kilmarnock 1
Partick 1 Ross County 1
All four teams were below us this morning and they get a point each.
Three of them are now a point ahead but we're still in the mix.

We've had 2 league wins this season out of 9. Disgraceful....and that clueless clown McGhee is to blame. We're too busy checking other teams results and hoping we can MAYBE get a result when we need it. I personally, am sick of this ****.
Yep, good results for us. always annoying to drop a little but hopefully we can put that right soon.
Yip, nothing but uninspiring dross from us all season and our performances and results bear this out. I have never felt so scunnered and disconnected with the club as I have now, we have zero vision off the park, a manager who treats the job like a hobby and continually disrespects the fans and who shouldn't have gotten within a million miles of the job after his behaviour last time he was here and all we have to look forward to is midtable mediocrity. And the worst part of it all? That so many of our dwindling support just accept it all because "we're only a small club punching way above our weight".
We cant change anything and thats the way it will stay. The entire league needs to look to change whats on offer but they could change a lightbulb without a committee and asking the OF if its OK. The league is pointless and on its arse and the blazzers are quite happy to watch it that way.
I don't disagree with anything that steviex said, but we as a club could help our own matters by ridding ourselves of this 'jobs for the boys' policy of re-signing ex players then retaining them well past their sell by date and instead showing a wee bit of vision for the future with regards to signings and developing youth.
It would also help if we didn't hire ex managers who decided he was too big for the club years ago, treats the support with disdain and generally seems to have no interest in taking us forward as a club. McGhee did a good job for us in 2007/2008, but he's dined out on that ever since and his attitude and approach to us as a club ever since the summer of 2008 has been shocking, yet we re-hire him?! And what's more, I know I'm not the only Motherwell thinking on those lines, far from it.
As I said, we need to learn to look forward and not backwards.
Don't disagree with the league, that's a farce.
McGhee, you'll never like, fair enough - I'm not a massive fan of his behaviour but I doubt anyone would have done a better job than him last season.
He's currently developed Hall (made money), Cadden (already a solid first XI player) and started to give McLean and McMillan time - realistically I dunno what more he can do there.
As for the club, given no one wants to own us, a grand vision will be very near impossible to implement...despite that we've now got people in new positions, a cup-winning youth side, senior pros who identify with the club moving into coaching, our next manager is effectively being trained on the job and the community trust is thriving. This is all separate from current first team results and performances - which are clearly brown trouser time - but in terms of the club's direction, for the first time in several years I think we have one. You may not like the direction, you may not like the people doing it and they may fail but it's there - and quite frankly given the financial situation we're in I don't see how it could be much better.
