Well said, jv. Despite the opinion of leading tipster gwru I think Smallwood can do a ***** job for us. Worst thing of many bad things AS did.

MR Kenny Jackett will do it quietly behind the scenes but will sort the squad out.

Smallwood that was 2 seasons ago when he was doing his moping up job. End of last season & start of this he was getting more & more negative. Be a big mistake bringing him back.

Izzy Brown can't play him. Or Blackstock. Simple as.

Next position KJ will sort out is Left back. Unless Mattock can get back to last seasons level. Belaid?

Would like to see Smallwood back. It can never be proved, but I dont think that we would have conceded as many if Ritchie S was still with us. He and Frecks also had an understanding.

gwru. Agree KJ will do it his way. Smallwood was brilliant in the prior seasons we had in the championship. It was Stubbs that forced him out for some reason. Maybe he muffled his true play and position. How can you say cant play him, (assuming you mean Smallwood), Brown and Blackstock. Mr KJ will look at these forums (like he will), and take advice form us. Honestly mate, leave it to those who know. That isnt us and you.

I expect he will be well aware of Smallwoods capabilities from our encounters over the last few seasons as manager at Wolves and will appreciate his value to the team considering the battle for survival

Meant can't play Brown, he just plays for himself. Mostly loses us possession, puts us under pressure. Can't play Blackstock not a championship player now, it's for all to see.

Smallwood put him at side of Halford, protecting the defence he could do a job. Frecks or Newell further forward would work. Just hoping Kenny Jackett can get Vaulks up to playing Smallwoods role. There's a player there.

Willy Vaulks is one of the extremely few PeteWalker that Mr Stubbs and his team brought here to the NYS. He is young enough and will have the benefit of KJ and his team to bring out the best in him. Hopefully.

Would say Fisher, Ball, Vaulks & Taylor were good signings. A good age as well.

Wilson, Forde, Blackstock weren't. JFC & Allen also weren't. Brown?
