    Southgate on the cheap it is then

    he is reportedly taking less pay than his greedy predecessors

    He is as good as if not better than recent dross

    sign of the times gaz , football ( like at other industry ) will be forced by law to make public wages etc according to todays report in the rags anyhow )

    personally think its gone way way to far

    I support ireland so i don;t care really.
    However i think Southgate is the best England can get and good luck to him.
    Ps the only thing England has achieved was West Ham winning the world cup for them in 66

    Evening Tricky...one good thing about being the wrong side of 60 is that at least I saw the '66 final. The 3 ´ammers were,in fact,not too bad, but the 8 others were phucking fantastic!!

    I can only think of Jack Charlton who was an English manager for Republic of Ireland.

    Mick McCarthy was born and bred in Barnsley but he was more Irish then player Tony Cascarino who was a south london italian.
