    We're Rotherham United!

Do you know what, fack 'em all, fack the outsiders and the people from elsewhere who are laughing at us and our current predicament. Fack stupid managers from third world countries like Scotland. Fack stupid Millwall w@nkers too.

We're Rotherham United Football Club. And we should be proud of that. We should be proud to be Millers. We should be proud of our town too, despite those filthy perverts who have done what they have to bring it to it's knees (no pun intended.... No, seriously, I would never make that joke).

We need to unite together and stand as one. We have had hard times before and come through it. We've had a good few years anyway, we were due a bad one.

If we wanted constant success and good times, we would support one of the top Premiersh!t clubs. The good times feel better BECAUSE of the bad times.

Some days wouldn't be special, if it wasn't for rain. Joy wouldn't feel so good, if it wasn't for pain.

Let's stick together, stay loyal, get behind the club in this dark time.

    We're all Millers aren't we!

Good for you Ellis_D, just wonder reading some of the links on this site, some people seem more concerned what other people say about us, I for one don't give a fxxx, what they say, I can remember going to millmoor on freezing cold midweek nights about 2 thousand people there going home after we lost, going to bed ungry because my mam new not to get me anything to eat if we lost, I loved my team then and I love then now, once a miller always a miller

Despite how much I love the NYS, I still miss Millmoor. Had some of the best times in my life in that ground. It didn't matter that we stood there freezing, it didn't matter that if you waited until half time for a pie, all the pies were gone, it didn't matter that we only had 4 brick walls chucked together that somehow classes itself as a toilet.... As long as we won. And if we didn't win, we scrapped as hard as we could trying.

I started watching us every week at the age of 7/8 in 1991. Never looked back. The best Miller teams were the ones who fought for everything and played together as a team. This bunch could do worse than being shown a few old videos of Ronnie's teams.

I'll go one further than all this memorabilia and reminiscences from better days ( perhaps ).

I like to remember when the TIVOLI supported !

The "BEST SIDE" was known to full of pseudo intellectuals shouting at the board - the managers and they all knew better.

We'll - the TIVOLI supported - despite being called sewer rats. There were instances when certain groups voiced dissatisfaction - but they were soon quashed as it did nothing to improve the lads on the pitch's mental attitude!

    That's why I am so.......

Critical .....against .....anti Rotherham United chat that is common on these forums.

But like Bernard Manning once said "if you don't like it - switch it off"

But I am a voyeur to the news as it happens and thankful of some true insights from those that care....

Ellis_D's OP is drivel. I say this with regret as he seems a sound guy normally. But this is just drivel. People should be PROUD of personal achievement. Why the f*ck should anyone be PROUD simply to support RUFC or to come from Rotherham? It's just daft. As for lbj, he's deranged. I have stood at Millmoor since around 1960 and his stupid contrast between the Tivoli loyalists and posh elitists in other parts of the ground is pathetic nonsense.

I'll give you one example, out of many.....when the main stand 'elites' hounded Kevin Watson out of the club, shameful behaviour from people with massive chips on their shoulders....

I always - with the single exception of the Wolves FA Cup game when Jim Storrey got the winner - stood on the Tivoli and never heard us referred to as "sewer rats". As for millmoormagic's suggestion I'm sorry but it's rubbish. A socialist nonsense that working class Tivoli types were supportive while elitist were not. Absolute frigging rubbish.
