    Thanks, jv. Always like your stuff but I'm too annoyed to read this. Not a question of hindsight. I said during our first season in the Championship (and repeated many times since) that our revolving door policy was a disaster waiting to happen. Should have got rid of Evans right then.

    And more signings to come, I wonder if we have had more signings than any other club over the last three seasons.

    Monty...if Evans was given a brief of championship survival and a budget to achieve it with, then he has executed his remit perfectly in one respect. The problem was also going to be when he left, changing course as we have seen isn't easy

    A revolving door is fine, the worry is when it stops and you're trapped without an escape route.
