    Warne talks signings.

As the January transfer gets ready to open up for silly money signings, desperation transfers and one last paydays, Paul Warne looks to bring in new players. - External Link

Yep it's definitely 42 year old Arthur Scoggins from Newport County reserves.

Watch us bring some players on loan in even though this season is already over which will not benefit us one bit, we must target permanent signings ready for next season now, loan signings are pointless and a waste of money now.

I am preparing for a further portion of disappointment. If we couldn't sign players last time around we won't now. We are the basket case of the EFL, which quality player would want to come?

We might be the basket case of the Championship but certainly not the entire league. We are offering half a season in the championship followed by a season in league one with a competitive budget. There will be players who will be attracted by that, not top quality players of championship level but decent young athletic lads, hungry with with a point to prove.

That seems at odds Tony with the dreams and aspirations of our chairman who was hunting a top ten spot not so long ago.
