    Premier League panic

    Another one bites the dust.

I suppose when you get well beaten by the likes of west brom you are in big trouble as a manager.

    Lovin it, me.

If it is Phelan you are talking about it was not really a surprise was it. Especially with the lunatic owners involved. I wonder wht the top season for sacked managers was and how this one is in comparison. Swansea have had three managers this season already!

He's got a crap team. The fact that they're only 3 points off survival is an indication that he is doing about as good a job as possible given the circumstances. A quality manager isn't going to want to walk into a no-win situation without a guarantee of being the manager next year should they drop.

Especially when you are beaten 1-5 at home by them. How is Mick these days?

    Walked into that one Newcy.

It gives the sandwell town fans something else to brag about.

Phelan was up against it right from the off, especially after Steve Bruce quit the club. The table never lies and all manager's are judged on the results on the pitch.

The time to worry is when you panic in the championship. How many managers is it so far?

My main point was that Phelan inherited a meagre squad, a squad that Bruce knew wasn't good/big enough.
Nothing has changed so why sack him?

The bonus is that the usual monthly tiddler has had a good chomp at the bit.

    Some things never change
