    What Democracy ... ?

Just a little rant .... sorry

I'm no real Trump fan, I did vote for Brexit But why are people trying to change the outcomes of the peoples votes>>>> ffs

People are making this a farce.

Brexit voters are being labelled as racists due to wanting control over borders. . .. ffs I voted Brexit to get away from the corrupt syndicate of the non elected EU leaders such ****er and Mearkat Janker

Freedom of movement was not my reason for leaving as I do know that Brexit won't stop immigration to this country.

Brexit for me also meant that the process of these migrants would be improved and the Calais situation might speed up in due course.

I am no politician or political expert but the ****s playing tit for tat where human life is at stake is unforgiveable

I voted for Brexit because I wanted my fellow countrymen to be able to make decisions by our people for our people and not by some bureaucrats sat around a table in Brussels.. I also want to see the number of immigrants coming into my country cut dramatically and all the ones who are already here illegally found and sent back to where they came from..

People never thought that the Brexit out vote would ever happen , it did so they want to get over it as it we are a democratic country..I just put it down to sour grapes by the losers which includes both my children who voted to stay in.. You could say the silver surfers made a massive contribution to the out vote, does that mean we are all racists..?

As I said to both my whinging sons, get over it as it's going to happen whatever ,it's just a matter of when ... Well done to all those who had the balls to vote out and nit cowtow to the governments campaign to stay in Europe

Oh Alfie, I bet every ****ed up trade deal that's blamed on Brexit is your fault too lol

My wife is a remainer and so are most of her friends so I feel your pain and frustrations.

In the USA some are doing their best to discredit the democratically elected Trump. Trump stated he is out to expose corruption and ignore fake news (CNN for example).

The last speech JFK made was about an "elite; secret society" and he was going to fight it and corruption ........ then he was assassinated.

Within the EU we have been hoodwinked with PC this and PC that. Anything remotely racist sounding (when you know damn well it wasn't) is questioned and outraged upon.

I think the time has come for radical change and I expect big things for 2017
    Peace - out :-)

I agree with your first sentence Alf, it's the main reason why I voted out. We joined the EEC which was simply a trading group but it went way, way further than that. Immigration is more difficult I want targeted immigration to cover instances where we don't have enough people to do certain jobs or we don't have people with the right skills. If we stopped immigration from day one this country would grind to a halt. But we need to look at the number of unemployed who should be taking up some of the slack and changing our education strategy to cover skills shortages.

As for sending illegal immigrants back where they came from, we already do where it's possible. The problem is that an illegal entrant, or bogus asylum seeker, will invariably destroy his or her travel document as soon as they arrive. Aeroplane toilets are full of them. If caught they then claim to be from a different country of origin, which makes it close to impossible to get them a passport to allow them to be returned to the right country. Even where an illegal's nationality is established some countries delay issuing travel documents. India was taking 3 years to document some of its nationals when I left immigration; meanwhile we were stuck with them.

Griff: I don't think that the vast majority of migrants would want to leave their regions or their countries if they had what it takes to live where their families are. No matter what borders are put into place, no matter what walls are built or their height misery and poverty will always find a way of getting past the obstacles. Most, if not to say 100% of African migrants have Europe as their destination. If Europe does not take the necessary steps to economically develop Africa (I know....easier said than done) then it will never stop. It is a long term effort but if nothing is done......and with the demographic explosion forecasted in the next decade.....Europe and the U.K. Will be submerged....Brexit or not.

can anybody remember Idi Amin solving his immigrant problem many years ago.. Wasn't he educated in England ? Lol
    What a tyrant he was.

Yes Immigration It's a massive problem and will only get worse ,but why should Europe have to sort out problems in Africa ? Haven't we enough problems of our own besides the immigrant problem to look after.. I'm tending to think we are selling large chunks of Britain off to foreign investors ,whose to blame for this ?

I remember Idi and I was mates with a guy who's family was forced to leave due to him. He is or was a director of an engineering company in Leicester.

Do you remember which dignitary turned his back on Idi whilst in a line up of other world dignitaries who shook his hand???

Alf: As I said, practically 100% of African migrants will be heading for Europe...if nothing is done to develop The sub saharian countries it will be a phuckin tsunami compared to what it is today. Just to give you an idea of how far they are behind...Google the different continents where you have view of how the different countries look like from the sky at night. Look at at Africa...there is hardly a phucking light compared to the rest of the world. To be fair, looking at what some European countries (Britain,France,Belgium to name just 3) took out of Africa....it wouldn't be too much asking them to put something back in.

We have nothing left to put in Frenchy,we cant even run our own health service properly.. Or education ..I really do blame the Tories for all this, but at the moment we have no opposition to them so they are allowed to ruin our once great country.. I don't see an end to it either ..

Evening Gaz: One of my friend's father was British High Commisioner in Uganda....( He later became ambassador to Cuba)....when he was expelled by Idi Amin Dada. Apparently they had 24 hours to pack their bags and belongings and leave the country. My friend used to see Idi Amin quite often at his home. He was glad to leave as he knew he was a nut case. To this day the one thing he has never forgot or forgiven was having to have the family dog put down because the animal was not allowed back in the UK because of quarantine rules and regulations.
