    Success or fai

    Failure that should be lol

There's a lot of gloom and doom about at the moment, lack of confidence in the Chairman and general complaints about budgets, management and donkey players.

But are we that badly off?

Here's a list of teams that were with us when Ronnie Moore took over for the first time.

    Notts County
    Macclesfield Town
    Lincoln City
    Colchester United
    Torquay United
    Scarborough United
    Barnet
    S****horpe United
    Peterborough United
    Leyton Orient
    Mansfield Town
    Shrewsbury Town
    Chester City
    Exeter City
    Cambridge United
    Hartlepool
    Rochdale
    Darlington
    Swansea City
    Cardiff City
    Hull City
    Brighton and Hove Albion
    Doncaster Rovers

Yeah, maybe we would like to be a Hull, Swansea or Brighton ( or maybe we wouldn't because it would cost us a lot to watch the team) but it would be more likely (based on fan base) that we are more like Darlington, Shrewsbury and Lincoln.

So are we really that bad off?

I don`t think I would be at ease having someone like Chansiri at our club even if it meant huge investment.
Season ticket prices would rise for one thing. We are what we are a small Northern club swimming against the tide with the intention of coming in on budget or thereabouts.

To answer your question, no we`re not that bad off. A golden opportunity lost but at least we`ve been in the Championship.

Casper most fans these days only want success, and that is impossible for every club, there has to be losers, did you here the boos after the final whistle at Leicester yesterday. If we had spent the last 4 seasons in Lg1 mid-table and a little higher dont think there would have been all the doom and gloom on this board, do you?

You`re right Archie. Maybe it`s me that`s too easily pleased, sort of seen it all, done it all. Sometimes it`s better to step down a League and win a few games rather than be the whipping boys in a higher division.
I heard the boos for 70mins from the Bristol fans that was bad enough.
