Maybe, but exactly how much have Dcfc spent in the last two years?
Last answer in here was, it doesn't matter now, it's spread out over 3 years?

It's obviously Fawaz is doing his utmost to make sure the club stays up to stop it being further under valued.
Pity he didn't have this much vigor last July

Still be surprised if we don't see one or two loan deals done later this month. Probably the best way given some of the inflated prices paid yesterday. No denying Forest's 'ambition' yesterday, whether it works remains to be seen but, as we know only too well, desperate deadline day deals don't always come good. Personally I really dislike the 'windows' system and much prefer the old way.

I prefer the old system. The current one resembles an hiring fair in Casterbridge. I don't think we can have loans this season now that the transfer has now passed. Would someone confirm?

We've spent a fair bit, hence why I'm always worried about our financial state. Mel seems to have realised we couldn't sustain that level of spending though, and we've now edged towards loans again, which is fine by me because the 2013/14 season was the right way of doing business.

We still spent 2m on Nugent though.

Seems you're right Basie. I stand corrected and I'll now be bloomin' amazed if we get any loans in during Feb/March .
    Obviously think we've got enough...hope they're right.

Zachary Clough is a great bit of business. One of the best young opposition players I've seen at p.p. In recent years.

We failed to shift much dead wood, which could bite us, and Nugent looks to be another couple of mil pissed away, as Martin will surely replace him in the summer now he's sign a new contract.

Remember a time when spending a mil was our one big purchase of the season? Now we spend that on a player as cover for the bench for 4 weeks

Hence why we wont be going up, at least not until we let a head coach/manager gets time with the same group of players for a 2 or 3 year period, like Brighton have done with Hughton, and boro with Karanka.. we need to have a settled squad with the same man at the helm for a long period now, stop the silly signings.
