Do you not think Warne(s) really wants this job but puts out his smokescreen for when he proves he's not up to it ? If we are, as expected, humiliated on Tuesday I hope he begins to realise this himself. But will his ego let him resign ?

The less I like him.
When Tony Stewart extended him as manager that was his chance in the best interest of the club to say I'm not suited or good enough to keep this club up.
But he obviously thinks he can do a job at it now

Don't think ill of Warnsey - he's been asked to be the one to take us down and he knows it.
A new manager will be announced after Warnsey has done the dirty deed - without fault as all the propaganda is designed to blame AS.
Stubbs is another chapter - but if we bring in another manager he will inevitably take us down and he ( as he's currently otherwise occupied ? ? ) will have that on his CV and he doesn't want that and he'll be forever associated with this failure.
I only hope PW gets his head right and isn't too adversely affected.
I've just got a feeling it's Steve Cotterill - he's been out of work for a while and not ( to my knowledge ) been associated with anyone yet.
Sounds feasible ( to me....lol ) because Warnsey has never been a manager and having someone "fiddling" in the background while Rome burns isn't unreasonable if you believe his closed season unveiling will be beneficial .
At least it's a plan - and I do love a plan !
