There's always the chance that could happen, but please God don't let it,we have a history that when we start to fall we do so big time, but in TS i am more confident that he wont allow that to happen.
Two seasons ago in the Championship they had 21 points at this point, now 12th in League 2.
We have 17 points.

Quite a high chance.
Maybe even a Wrexham or Darlington
The owners of Blackpool subsidised their "business" and themselves out of the club. TS wants a successful club but within it's means.
We gate-crashed the championship and during our stay the football landscape has changed around us - the championship getting tougher more this year than ever.
Having "saleable assets" has helped the smaller clubs compete - notably Barnsley.
We are ( TS is ) a victim of our / his own success in that we didn't grow "organically" - we bought a squad / year which we couldn't possibly do this year.
We'll have a great season next season once we've all put in context our relegation.
It will be just a small club - with a small budget - living within our means - the original plan "A" of buying the best squad we could afford and moulding them into a fighting force was a good one - but TS pulled the plug .....
Plan "B" - Throwing money at chasing the championship dream was never going to happen......
That's why we should have persisted with plan"A".....because - despite it not working ( but not given time to work ) we would have a better manager for the furture - with him and his team learning so much this year.
Impossible to do the "full" Blackpool as we haven't tasted the boom to bust experience of the Premiership. There are numerous examples of clubs falling from Championship to League 2 in quick time, ourselves included so its not beyond the realms of ppssibility if we dont get the ship on an even keel.
Rotherham United are half way there, has the Millers rock.
not a chance rotherham will do a blackpool. looking at the 1st division. sheff u are walking it and there star player is billy sharp.
i know a few blades fans and when asked about promotion. in there words, "if we do go up we will have to spend 30 million to stay up"
the gulf is huge and come november when were in the top 3 NYS will again be rocking
I do not think that we will go straight back up. As dmentor says we usually go down two levels from the 2nd tier. However, at this moment in time with no permanent manager, restructuring required and some middle to big clubs likely to be in league 1, I would settle for a season of consolidation irrespective of what TS says. Clearly the players not good enough for the championship have something to prove and get some experience on their shoulders. Retention, release and additions will be key to what happens.
Not a prayer of that unless TS chucks it in.
Why people cant get their heads round what an impossible task it is for a man as wealthy as TS to fund a team to be competitive at this level is beyond me.
I'd call you all thick f@ckers, but I know you're not.
League 1 is a level TS can fund and make us competitive.
I know its hard having to endure this season but don't get all over dramatic about our situation.
Its not like we ain't been here before lads!!!
Spot on, old boy.
When the Cowley Brothers come in next season everything will be Hunky Dory. TS has already laid the foundations with Double J acting as the Les Reed of Rotherham United. In charge of recruitment, he's already picked out Purrington and Big Semi who look quite impressive. The Cowleys will add their work ethic and focus on youth and we will be in a far healthier position.
If only Stubbs wasn't so **** we could already be on this path.
