Thread: If you see one of your mates on the brink of making a huge mistake....

If you see one of your mates on the brink of making a huge mistake....

    you tell him don't you?

If he was about to invest all his money in a dumb project you would have a word wouldn't you?

If he was drinking too much and starting to upset people you would have a quiet word wouldn't you?

If he was going to marry a serial gold digger in 6 months tim,e you would tell him wouldn't you?

If he was getting obese and starting to look unhealthy , wheezing and sweating, you would tell him to change things wouldn't you?

Okay, so if a chairman of a football club in free fall was about to blow the opportunity to have a productive close season, not for the first time I might add, Surely you would tell him BEFORE the disaster happened!

You would tell him that we could appoint a new manager with 14 games to go, giving a chance to assess the whole squad and see who is fit for the rigours of a L1 promotion battle. You would point out that this indeed is an opportunity to get in front of our competitors, lay some solid foundations BEFORE the close season started.

You would say that it was idiotic to appoint a new manager in the summer because this would leave us BEHIND everyone else yet again. You would show some positive intent and provide some impetus to try and counteract plummeting season ticket sales. You would give the wavering fan some hope about noext season rather than uncertainty!

So come on TS get a new man in now and lets start rebuilding NOW!

He's got a new manager - he'll be planning next season as we speak - looking at players - to come in - to go out.

He'll be watching league one teams to build a portfolio for next season...

He will be the most prepared manager in the league....with one of the biggest budgets and one of the best grounds.

Warnsey has been given the task to take us down.. he will be blameless and they'll be no sacrificing lambs or bloodletting.

This new manager will be announced at the optimum time for the club to inspire confidence for the year ahead.

TS will not make the Warnock mistake again - his procrastination ruined every aspect of our preparations - leaving AS with a tremendous mountain to climb.

    And this new manager is......

Who knows....I've got a feeling it'll be Davis Cotterill.....and that doesn't fill me with fear and trepidation.....so - who knows.....

This Davis Cotterill sounds like a good lad, he cant do any worse than we have had before.

If we can get him to give his fishmongers shop in Birkenhead were home and dry

You could replace his name with any other name on this planet and that statement would be true.
