Now do you all believe me?

I told you at the beginning of the season that this club was shambolic.

I pointed out that Poland and a cheap plastic tunnel with a car design were major red flags..Many laughed but who is laughing now?

Giddings can defend the club as much as he wants and insult the callers but from top to bottom the club is shambolic.

If The Technical Committee feel we have a core of players ready for L1 they are sadly mistaken.

This team would be relegated again.

Why on Earth do we play all season without a striker?

I have no answers to all this except a massive clear out and start again and not just with the players.

You are 100% correct, who doubted you from the beginning,i said to my wife at the very start of the season, that if she thinks we struggled last season, well get ready for this season,it was going to be far worse,i don't think she took me seriously at the time, she sure does now.
When you analyse what is going on at the NYS,and compare it to Blackpool's plight when they got relegated from the Championship, its obvious we are going to do the same, unless TS,appoints a decent manager and that manager as a healthy budget,we wait with baited breath on that one.
If you take Blackpool as a yard stick, for a lot of their season in the Championship, half the time they struggled to field a team, and had to include trialits in their first team to field a team, they ended the season on 25pts i think,so how bad is that making us look this season,it just beggers belief really.

Anybody who still thinks all will be well come August is deluding themselves. TS gave up the fight in October realising that we were in irreversible and terminal decline. Lack of investment, on and off the field, poor decision-making and sub-standard recruitment over the preceding months (and years) meant our Championship stay was destined to be a fleeting one. Nonetheless, something could have been salvaged from the wreckage if, having accepted our fate, we'd started planning for League 1. Nothing was or is being done.

We're now five months away from the start of the new season. Given our situation we should be looking to hit the ground running but we've effectively been abandoned and allowed to sink deeper and deeper into the mire, week after week after week. So much so that the task of resurrecting ourselves has shifted from the very difficult to the monumental. I hesitate to say impossible - but more through hope than rational thinking.

For four years we've been building and rebuilding but instead of moving forward we're going backwards at an alarming rate. The management situation is beyond a joke. Warne's appointment serves no purpose whatsoever other than prolonging a decision on a genuine manager (to what end?) and saving money. So who is addressing this and wider staffing issues? Who will make the crucial decisions on retentions and recruitment, on strategy, policy, budgets...? Who is looking at infrastructure planning?

Of course, there might be so much ongoing behind the scenes that we'll all be amazed...

Don't you think that the "Poland" trip was indicative of Warnocks procrastination!

There are lots of professional clubs in Europe seeking suitable summer pre-season accommodation and "book early folks" is ringing g in my ears.

Players are a plenty early on - looking for somewhere to hang their hats for the next season.....has anyone played football in the school yard or local rec's.- all players lined up with two "captains" - who goes first !

And who are last in the line !
    ( The answer isn't me - smart arse )

As I've said - this year the championship has gone into turbo power with mediocre players going for more than "silly money"

Starting late made this so much worse and TS was just NOT willin to risk the club's finances to chase the rainbow.

He talked up the possibilitis to max out sales and we - as a supporters group let the club down by not wheeling out the granny to NYS.....But look what Huddersfield and Bradford have done to get folk in and interested ( very cheap season tickets )

And - the Huddersfield chairman has gone into debt. A lot more than we have. And they had their "business" done early!

With all that's come out about 60% of budget allocated to players not fit for purpose and bugger all infrastructure for the manager to concentrate on football - the wheel on the Stubbs hate campaign has come off - for those bright enough - or humble enough say their wrong !

We would be OK now given a full season under Stubbs as a re-builder of teams and a fully supported window to get new blood in!

Come on - hands up - life under Stubbs - playing like we did against Newcastle at home would be 100% better than a shapeless mess - coached by our fitness guy ! Still with Izzy and steady mid-table by now !

    Numpties !

    Leeds miller

Don't fret - what you say about the infrastructure of the club is true.....but that is exactly what is happening NOW....

TS recognised this and is rectifying all those backroom inefficient ways - so we'll start refreshed - with new management - we will NOT be underfunded in league one....and give it a good go !

Bottom line we are the victims of our own success - EVO and TS shot us through the leagues and we gatecrashed the championship !

    That's it !

Now we'll grow organically - bring granny!

I think October was the turning point and many saw that as the light bulb moment for witnessing the start of something awful. As we have gone along, more and more fans have expressed their concerns over a number of matters. All did not seem quite right, all that we were told, did not come to fruition. Then it dawned on us, nothing was going on and nothing has been going on. Appoint cheap as peanuts Warney as manager and sell that to the fans as being the best option ............ Miller through and through, it's in his blood etc etc tripe and the fans will believe it for a time. I think that is the crux - the club needs to buy itself time. Whatever has gone on behind the scenes is perhaps way way beyond our worst fears. It is way beyond training facilities, ground extensions, quality players only coming to the club, we have millions to spend. Even the pitch is looking neglected and two managers have criticised it recently. Didn't we win successive awards for our pitch a few years back? It makes you feel there is some "Black Hole" that needs dealing with. Our demise is worse than Blackpool in so far as we do have our own players but looking at some of the seasoned pros on show last night such as Newell, I mean, is that a footballer (talented) who put his shirt on with pride? Was he playing with an injury? That was not Joe Newell of old. What mind-sets have our players got?

Injuries - How many injuries are we carrying and have carried all season. Unbelievable. Is anyone looking into why our players are so injury prone? Something is radically wrong with our fitness levels and training techniques or can someone give me an alternative answer as to why so many of our players are side-lined. Is it because Warney no longer takes training?

Confidence is massive in all walks of life and in sport the lack of it can make athletes and footballers look lazy, disinterested, they are more susceptible to getting or thinking they have injuries (Ward). Warnock said confident players can have injuries and still put in performances and I think this was shown last season under him.

Total clear out seems the answer but it isn't going to happen. Will we actually appoint a manager? Will Warney continue?

Some fans are now saying it is because of the players we have that he is doing so poorly. I'm not so sure about this. Our players were good enough to show more than they showed last night, earlier in the season. So the honeymoon, mates together, come round to ours for a pizza, asking the captain to help select the team along with Brecks and Pollitt coz I'm not sure who to pick, have to be over. Comments like they gave me everything and I'm warming to the job just irritate fans.

It will get worse next season, yet I heard from some last night that we might bounce straight back to the Champs. They are on the same stuff as our Chairman.

lbj, less of the name calling please. Nobody on MillerMad can sack anyone at the club unless Tony Stewart posts. You have your opinion and we have ours. It's all what, ifs and buts when looking back at things isn't it? It would have be nice for your mate to have seen us to mid table but he didn't and losing to Newcastle was true and we did raise our game for that game. It was televised and I received texts from mates all over France who said that we played well.
We're not numpties for dissagreeing with you we just have different opinions.

I see that Warne said that some of his players were "hiding" last night.

Maybe so but we have also many at the club that are also hiding. Tony Stewart is one of them and we still don't know who the other financial backers are and how much they influence things.

I don't think Poland was too bad a choice but home fixtures would have been better so that the bond between club and fans was strengthened.

Pre season was undoubtedly a mess but there was still enough time to sort it regardless of Warnock. All it proved was that without a manager there was nobody at the club that could keep things shipshape in the interim.

Its unfortunate that what was obvious to some of us "moaners" pre season has now come to fruition. When your marquee signing is an average LG1 player, and the other signings no better, what do you expect.
As for some blaming Warnock,i would imagine he was told that if he kept us up, he would be given an unbelievable budget for this season.I am sure he found it unbeleivable.
I expect next season to be consolidation at best. The loan signings will go elsewhere,Frecks and Broadfoot should retire,we need a decent keeper, and we will lose about 5 million in income.
