Never thought I would see Showaddywaddy and Oasis in the same sentence

I think the difference is les, Showaddywaddy never went round telling everyone on the planet that they were the best rock and roll band in the world and that they were going to conquer the planet.
I thought Showaddywaddy were more of a fun band than anything serious? I may be wrong.

I think Noel Gallagher sampled more than a couple of chords, after his rise to fame he admitted that he blatantly ripped off many riffs on the first album because he didn't really expect that many people would hear it. Fair enough I suppose.

Trouble is, when many people did hear it and Oasis were getting popular he carried on ripping people off on the second album.

The difference is Rory Gallagher was rock and roll.
Noel Gallagher thought he was rock and roll.

When I was a young **** on holiday with my parents in Paignton. I was on the beach with my brother and I was mistaken for Les McKeown of Bay City Rollers. I was signing pictures of him, even tho I said I wasn't him. It was a bit scarey being chased by 50 screaming girls across the crazy golf.
