Never understood the hatred of Man Utd.

Just jealousy it's got to be they are still arguably in the 2 biggest clubs in the world.

I used to really enjoy European fixtures when the teams were all British or Irish because it was us against them. Now it is our French/German/Spanish/South American against their French etc. so I don't get all that worked up about it.

I'd be astounded that people don't understand the hatred for ManUre, were it not Rotherham fans saying it. Unfortunately, like a lot of other areas in the country, some people in Rotherham support their home town club plus the Scum.

Manchester United have more reasons to be hated than any football club in the world, and only a tiny, tiny part of that is down to success.

The dislike of Man utd is down to a few factors

    1. They were effectively the first club to go private, create cash via shares and thus marked the beginning of cash is king, football fans to be milked.
    2. They took on one of the most arrogant, obnoxious managers the game has ever seen.
    3. Their teams were peppered with cheats and those that intimidated referees (and the authorities let them)

In effect they took the hate crown off Leeds United in many folks eyes.

All of the above listed could apply to most teams.

But as long as they're not successful that's ok then?

Don't support them just don't wast my time hating someone who are not a rival to us.

Still think it's pure jealousy at there success and stature.
