    No offence to 'The Las' ... but I hope you're right on the ratio of playing versus coaching. Last season he was a yard short in the tackle - can't see him being any better with another year on the clock. Still, wouldn't mind him as a coach.

    I sincerely hope so. Presumably Mark McGhee agreed to this clause? Keith has been a great servant for us but he's well past his sell by date.

    Maybe so but past his best there was still a reason we were glad to have him at the end of last season and he was still better than the majority of guff in our squad. Him and Hammell hang around because we haven't managed to find anyone better.
