Whatever happened to those two big

bids we had on the table?

Maybe the Chairman suddenly woke up and found they had signed for someone else similar to the Bogle event.

Then we have Frazer Richardson in the wings!!...with the possibility of a deal!!

Peanuts all round this season obviously.

Some supporters as usual at this time of year are in fantasy land.

We are a club in decline...trust me!

As an aside....Warnes seems to think he is still the fitness coach....

I note that as per the last few years everyone is expecting a striker to come in...Keep expecting fellas...It ain't gonna happen!

We'll hit them that fast they'll think they're surrounded!!!

Look at our squad. Is Yates on a full contract? Bailey-King won't be. But the rest will be decent contracts for league 1, that's were the money goes. Players we get in if we're going to pay a big fee for this league have got to be good enough to step up to the championship. There's talk of the 2 on loan from Ipswich, full back yes but do we need another big striker.

No we aren't a club in decline.

What we are is a club that's recovering from a serious attack of "massivitis"

We are Rotherham, a small unattractive town cursed with social issues but we have a chairman that aims high. A great thing to do but isn't based on reality.

What we are seeing now is a plan that matches our true level, a level that matches our finances, our support and our realistic position in the world of professional football.

Holy crap talk about negative you'd think we had booths kids in charge again. F me.

I wouldn't say we are in decline nor would I say that this league is best we can do.

Things have improved a lot we No longer need a tetanus shot after going to millmoor. Our stadium is best small stadium in the country, we have better training ground facilities, we have youths with talent and we have a owner with ambition.
Ambition is good it means he won't give up until he gets what he wants and as a long term plan it's a good one.
I wouldn't say I'm showing blind faith because right now I'm not expecting us to spend anything. Paul warne has only been given a years rolling contract the fact that he has not spent anything and that money for them big bids has gone bye byes tells me one very clear fact. Paul warne is on probation and you don't give money to someone who maybe gone within a year. So why did paul warne get the job then? It's quite simple really warnock as great as he was left us and later went to Cardiff. Stubbs wouldn't bid for Cummings because he was still loyal to hibs not us and jacket left after 5 weeks. Now look at it like that which I'm sure tony Stewart has and I bet he is thinking hmm what we need is someone who is loyal to me and to the club and won't p off first sign of trouble or turn his head away from people he may have worked with before due to conflicting loyalty and that is why paul warne got the job and due to him being new to management he is on a years trail.

I still believe however that we will win this league and when we do we will have a manager who is experienced ish and loyal to us. Who no doubt will be offered a better contract.

    Ok but still.....

"When we do we will have a manager who is experienced ish"

PW hasn't finished his homework on a basic coaching course yet.....trial and error all season but teams not that clinical to punish us - so he'll get away with murder. ( in league one - no higher )

He got the managers job because all the others knew TS was in cloud cuckoo land even being close to the championship with the budget we had....They probably told him too......that's why they are ex-managers.

PW will never knock on TS's door stating the obvious. He'll manage us down to the Sunday if asked to. But he will learn from his mistakes....touch wood.

PW hasn't the knowledge and / or contacts the previous manager's have had.....Warne was a turn up - clock in / clock out employee....previous manager's were lifetime achievers and at a much higher level of playing & coaching .

But we have to watch what he wants us to watch.....at least it'll be high energy for our core support.....but "Quality"...?
