Friendly or not you always want to win the last warm up game before the real action begins .

It probably doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things but as a supporter you are looking for signs that the season ahead will see you ok .

I think the away section will be fairly full tomorrow , 700 travelled over to Rochdale on tuesday night .

We aren't sure at all how things are going to go for us this season , 9 new players in and Hecky's wanting 4 more in before we set off to Bristol for the opener .

We need a couple of strikers badly and we believe the club haven't been successful in landing the targets identified earlier in the summer , we will struggle badly for goals if the quality doesn't arrive .

I wouldn't go as far as to say pants , he never really got going , when Winnall left he took his place and scored a good goal against Leeds and a couple away at Aston Villa and I thought right he's found his feet and then we got nothing for the rest of the season .

He needs a partner up there and a good run in the side , big season coming up for the lad .

No chance of loaning him out .

By all accounts Bradshaw was really up for it away at Aston Villa, because hes from the West Midlands and he wanted to prove a point to his family and friends who were there. And then he went missing again in the remaining games, how can players selectively choose who they want to play well against!!

Anyway enough ranting, we will both probably make 17 changes at half time tomorrow and Hecky will come on and play for the final 11 seconds seeing as its only a friendly.
