Proctor and Ball article from Fleetwood perspective

It's a bit over the top this but it's interesting from a Fleetwood fan on how Proctor and Ball had a brief crossover at Fleetwood and they can maybe offer together: http://backpagefootball.com/bally-pr...adshow/115422/

An interesting article even if it is written in the style of a latter day poet!

    These are my own thoughts.

I think Proctor and Ball will be the starting front two at Fleetwood. In fact, I think that Ball is crucial to the way that Warne wants to play and that as the season goes on it will be a case of who he plays off. Moore, Clarke-Harris and Proctor effectively vying for one starting spot, although all may have parts to play off the bench.

I don't see Yates getting much game time if Ball stays fit, and I don't see Clarke-Harris (who looks to be behind both Proctor and Moore at the moment) being around beyond the transfer window. I doubt that he will be happy to be a bit-part player and to be fair after a season of inactivity and at this stage of his career he needs to be playing regularly somewhere.

I still worry about whether we have enough goal potential in our strikers, but we certainly do have competition for places.

Eminently written and interesting article - I enjoyed reading it. Reminder that at least in the lower leagues, there is less 'billy big b0011**' and more humility and, dare I say it, appreciation.

Tough opener for us on Saturday - they are predominantly an established, close knit set up and we are still finding our feet - would gladly take a point at a ground we have not fared well at thus far...
