I think that is a bit harsh on EM as if I remember right the original impetus for the birth of Banter was when FootyMad decided to try to charge users to not see ads or get it for free and put up with what was an almost unusable site. They even tried to stop people using ad.blockers. The us v them mentality would never have transpired if it wasn't for the FootyMad moneygrab initiative.
