A quick, experienced defender, capable of getting forward and chipping in with the odd goal, the right age and has international experience. So why are we looking elsewhere? An insult to not even be on the bench at this level.

Despite Warne's denial I was assured on Saturday it's Farrend Rawson. But where or where is the all action quick and skilful centre midfielder that we desperately need ?

The situation with Belaid is really strange. Last season Warne put him in the team and told him early so he could get members of his family to come from France to watch him. He played 2 or 3 games and then seems to have been cast into the wilderness.
I don't know if something has happened behind the scenes that's caused problems but I hope we keep him because the lad is a decent footballer.

Is anybody impressed with the "recruitment guy"?As far as I understand he was very active in the signing of Purrington, who fails to replace Mattock and that is worrying.We are crying out for pace down the middle.Since Grant Ward went to Ipswich we have nobody who can quickly go box to box.

I get this feeling that Belaid is a quiet type of lad, easy for Warne to say "you're not picked"
