This isn’t a dig at you specifically Bridg4d, but one of my pet hates, seen regularly in posts all over the internet, is people using loose instead of lose.

As I used to say to my kids when they were young, “Don’t leave the door open or the dog will get loose and you wouldn’t want to lose him, would you?”
