    Conor Shaughnessy back to CM

With our limitations at CB, no doubt he will fill in there for time being, but could he be an answer to the teams lack of physical edge in the DM / CM role? That's his original position, and his height / tackling & half decent passing etc, could be the perfect player along side Okane / Phillips / Vierra.
Think the side is missing the Jansson / Bartley combination from last season, so think a quality CB, still required.

Bathlad be patient and enjoy Pennington, this kid looks very good, I know he ain't played much yet but from what I've seen of him so far he looks a very capable replacement for Bartley, not got the janssonesk physique like Bartley had but he reads the game very well for a youngster, reminds me how woodgate was a quick learner in his youth at Leeds, have you seen Conor play much at cm? I'm not convinced he's quick enough to be a cm, one player who is a natural cm but hadn't played there for us yet is Anita, however, if vurnon plays cm who do you drop? O'Kane and Phillips are making a great cm pairing, O'Kane with his intelligent play and Phillips chipping in with goals, they can't be dropped right now IMO, and conor is becoming a very decent cb, he definitely fits the bill as the 4th cb, jansson and Pennington are both good, most of coopers games this season have been improved, I think we are in better health than you realise, remember, 6 Wins 2 draws and 2 losses in 10 games is a very reasonable start, keep that exact form for the next 30, that would be 24 wins 8 draws and 8 losses, that's 80 points with 6 games remaining, its promotion form mate, we are doing well this season, have no fear! MOT!!!
