    Raising their game!

Amazing how Cardiff and Millwall can play like men possessed against us and like it's a cup final, yet Cardiff draw at home to Derby and Millwall get stuffed at home to Barnsley today, makes you sick!!!!

Thats what makes the Championship one of the hardest leagues in Europe. One week you can dominate a game and the next get beat. Didn't Millwall also do Norwich 4-0.

Hopefully get the win tomorrow and go second again but I expect it's going to be another hard match.

The last time the NOLU (Millwall) mob beat us was in Nov '13, just before we sacked flicker Flitcroft.
It is ridiculous though how certain teams can be right big bogeys!! We never seem to beat them regardless of what form they are in at the time.

Like I was saying mate on your 'expectations' thread....."this league so far is staying true to form"

And thats what is ace about this league George, I wish we could have better tv coverage because the Champship is more exciting than the over rated and over paid Premship.
Surely it deserves a match of the day style show which focusses on this league alone, and that would give Leagues One & Two longer coverage on their Ch5 show.

I agree Acido.....there is no guarantees down here, no hiding places, it's a tough but honest league.

I remember my first year of watching the Tykes, we came up to this leage in 1981 under Norman Hunter (or Hunter the butcher as the Burnsley mob call him) lol.
This league has changed so much since then but for me it will always be a more genuine league than the Prem. Even though its heading towards a Prem Two or whatever it will be called one day.

The prem was good when Leeds were in it, no coincidence that since Leeds got relegated its gone downhill ever since

Once we go back up again though, there will be plenty of smaller clubs for us to beat to keep us up in our first season back, then I reckon midtable second season, Europa league third season, and fourth champs league, its the 5 year plan radders put in place, it will happen, i guarantee it!
