Oldham Athletic Players & Staff Not Paid Septembers Salary

Oldham Athletichave failed to pay the wage of players & staff for September, their wage was due to be paid last Friday 29 September.
Oldham without a manager since John Sheridan was sacked,are trying to secure investment in the club, with owner Simon Corney reported to be away in America.
Caretaker Richie Wellens should have a chance of getting the managers job after winning 3 games, one a away victory at Portsmouth last Saturday.
But with wages not being paid, will this deter any applications for the position of manager, if the coffers have no money in them.
Clarence Seedof was a name being thrown around for the vacancy of manager.

The stewards at Oldham Athletic are employed by the club, therefore they have not been paid.
One senior steward as said that the stewards are thinking of doing a sit down protest at one of the games at Oldham, after not being paid their £32 per match salary for the month of September.

It's a shame that a football club with a lot of history could get in to a mess like this.They could follow Stockport,another club badly managed over the years.
