    Sheff Utd Surprise Package

Sheffield Utd pick up a ***** win over Leeds Utd tonight and go top of the Championship for the the first time in 12yrs some achievement with them being in League one for a long time and Chris Wilder is making a name for himself as he is on course for a triple promotion with already winning back to back promotions with Northampton & Sheff Utd in League 2 & League 1 perspectively.

Makes clubs who have been striving for promotion from this division aiming to achieve promotion to the PL for a long time a joke with the money that they spent to get the right balance for their squad to do the job.

Sheff Utd showing the rest of the league what good recruitment get’s you.

I disagree. A lot of teams have good players and others recruit good players.

The issue is good management and luck. The Blades seem to have both.
I suspect though 1 of these will fail sooner rather than later.

Played well and deserved their win, makes their destruction of the Rams look more palatable . Derby and Leeds will not be the only team looking for promotion to be tamed by the Blades this season. Early days I know but their all round performance was in a different league to Leeds..............

If you don't sides the respect they deserve they will continue to 'surprise'. Rowett said they had far more energy than us specially in midfield. Beat us comfortably and outplayed and out thought Leeds and Sheff Weds in their own back yard.

No stand out players, a few journey men, a desire to play for each other and a will to win. Nobody has a right to promotion.

Element of surprise, no pressure and a good manager has helped. Playing well too, but I think they will be found out. A bit early to peak me thinks. Watch for a resurgent Villa and Boro.

My pick will be Derby, Villa, Cardiff, Boro, Wolves and Norwich to be in the top 6, who will be in the autos I dunno. The 2 Uniteds will fade.
I wish Derby every success, who knows my 1 season support might extend to 2, if you make the Prem.

Their manager apparently disagrees with you and was unhappy with their performance.

I haven't really kept an eye on the Blades but what I read is that Coutts is the man that makes them tick. Any truth to this?
