    Callum McGregor

Scored against Bayern Munich in the CL tonight.

Surely won’t beat scoring the only goal against Walsall in the magnificent 5-1 defeat in January 2014.

He's kicked on more than Jack Grealish really, which is perhaps surprising. Still early days though, both players have the potential to operate at the top level for many years to come if they give it full commitment.

He gets more attension for off field antics than football matters, a great talent going down the pan, he's still young enough for someone to sort him out, if he's got the right attitude.

It is a sad indictment of the modern day 'home grown' footballer. At young ages they get offered obscene amounts of money, they have hit the jackpot, so why would they need to progress? Many don't. Once every so often you get a Marcus Rashford who hits the jackpot but wants more... The thread about the U17s England side had people bemoaning the lack of opportunity kids get at the big clubs... let us hope that some of the best players from that squad look at Marcus Rashford, and want a bit of what he has, rather than Jack Grealish, who for all his ability does himself no favours outside of football.
Back on topic, I was very pleased to see Callum score such a high profile goal against one of the best teams in world football. Keep your head down Callum, we will see you at Notts when we are in the Championship, hopefully before your 50th birthday 😬
