Anyone else putting their fees up next year?

I see the brilliant stallion Frankel’s fees for ‘covering’ a mare is going up next year from £125,000 a time to £175,000 a go. Still on the cheap side though as Dubawi costs £250,000 a go and Galileo so much that they keep it secret.

Nice work if you can get it but let’s be fair Frankel covered 195 mares this year which is a bit much to be honest!!! Plan is to reduce that to 150 next year on the higher fees though which must be good news for him.

I'd be interested to read George Elkborne's views on that, Yarm. The more I think about the cost of fireworks, the angrier I get.
