Loudspeaker system.

Can anybody explain why the loudspeaker system at the Hawthorns is completely inaudible. You would think that with today's technology it shouldn't be too difficult to be able to reproduce the actual words spoken so that we can all hear and understand what is being said. I see no point in giving information to the fans which we can't make 'head or tail of'.

It seems to be working ok when they blast all that trashy music out of it before KO.

I've never known it be any good, back in the 60s, 70s, 80s 90s it was worse than now.

Absolutely Chris it was always useless years ago & I used to sit in the Halford lane stand then & the first electric score board we had was a joke to ,

I've raised this a couple of times at least over the last couple of seasons.
The reasons that have been given are that the issues arose when they moved the system from the back of the smethwick end a couple of seasons back to somewhere else. Since then its been dreadful. They also said they have had the company back in to assess it and it was fine. It therefore appears that they either think there isn't a problem or they know there is but are cocking a deaf un.
