A few weeks ago you were complaining about boring football and Rafa only playing one up front. Now that he has done what you asked for and we have played more expansive football, even last week at Old Trafford, you still complain. He sees the players every day in training, which none of us do and up to the last few games played to their strengths against much tougher opposition than last year in the 'piss easy league.' It is pretty clear to me that he needs to revert back to his tried and tested as the quality of most of our players isn't premier league quality, primarily because your pal didnt allow Rafa to spend on a better class of player in the summer.

You just have to look at Andre Gray. Scored one but could and should have had 2/3 today. He was the kind of player to help us kick on and would have fitted in great, pace power but we were £15 million short on what we had for a striker £15 feckn million which we must have had given that we made a £20+ million profit on selling Sissoko et al and the money laid out on Ritchie etc.

Previously you have said that Murphy was a waste of money at £12 million and Rafa should have put the money to better use when we needed a top striker, but in the last two games he has been the best or one of our best players so he certainly has something about him. Clearly Rafa wanted 2 wingers to play so given Aarons injury record we needed another one with Ritchie and Atsu already here.

I hope Rafa does revert back to 'boring' football from Tuesday at least until 1 January as it is clearly more suited to the standard of player we have in many positions. We've got some tough games coming up and need to pick up points.

I dont know if you stayed until the final whistle was blown, but there was a distinct lack of booing at full time rather than half time? I think it was because the complainers left with 20 mins or so left.

I feel we need to get behind Rafa and the lads rather than on their backs. I said I thought we'd finish 15th this season and would be well happy with that. I get the feeling you don't want Rafa to succeed? Well 99.9% of Newcastle fans do even if we do get frustrated with the football at times. We need to back him because if he goes we WONT get anyone better.

Just as a side i've noticed at times during your posts you put shi73. What does that mean? as I seem to remember 73 was a significant number for our rivals. Im just a bit perturbed that an NUFC fan puts that, or maybe im just looking a bit too deep?

It was discussed on a couple of threads over the last few weeks that if we open up and attack, attack, attack ( as some people call for), we will be ripped to shreds.

    Man U 4-1 Newcastle
    Newcastle 0-3 Watford

    Who´s happy now?

With regards to our sguad, you can´t polish a t*rd.

And just because you play attacking footy doesn't mean you have to shift goals
Apart from 2 upfront who look like they have never met each other what attacking footy has he set up

How can you attack when you have shelf life and Diane in the middle
Both far to slow both all over the place
Both left massive gaps in the middle

All shelflife was doing was pinging 30 yard passes to a player who had drifted off side as he had taken to long

And don't use the injury argument

    Every club suffers with them
Some mangers deal with it better

And you can still defend with 2 up front
What you can't do is let the masked one go on a rampage and not track him back
