    Weird trainspottery question

Apologies in advance for the utter dullness of this question.....

I know he was on loan as cover and only actively featured in a game against Accy Stanley, but does anyone out there know if David Martin (GK on the books at Liverpool at the time) was ever assigned a squad number other than 36 for us during the 2009/10 season?

I would guess that the home programmes might have squad numbers listed in them if anyone has a few to hand.

Quite a few numbers were issued to multiple players. *

Alternatively, can you guess the number I'm thinking of right now?

    * Needs to get out more. *

........ is his keepers jersey up for sale then ?
(looking at photo, appears left sleeve is elbow length but right appears long)
At Millwall now according to his Twitter feeds .......

......... checking WAFLL stats we had an Alan Martin keeper too then - in fact we had queues of keepers joining then between 2009/10/11.

Is your Martin the one named on bench against Oldham Feb 2010 ?

Won't be sleeping now until the answer is FOUND ............

Alan Martin is the gk on the right, was sent out on loan to barrow in the conference at the time, was signed from Scotland but never made the grade at leeds

I'm talking about the one (David) who's now at Millwall - if he's on ****ter, I suppose I could always tweet him myself!

On the spur of the moment I added a #30 David Martin orange GK shirt (issued at best) to an outfield shirt from the eighties I really wanted more. Didn't cost more than a replica, so I figured I'd take a punt.

Checking the sources I routinely use (which might not be complete), the following three players also had the use of #30 during the 2009/10 season: Frank Fielding, Tony Capaldi and Will Hatfield.

Did I say it was a dull question already?!

Here's a photo of my dog as a puppy to make this less dull.

She's been trained to bite people wearing red shirts.

    Mmm,Pups & dogs Org ..........

I read your thread earlier in the year about the passing of one of loved dogs and openly admit to crying at the time .............

I recall telling you about my beloved collie aged 14 - sadly she passed away unexpectedly the week before our Boro game ((tummy tumour).I got her from Leeds Dogs Trust when she was 3 and she was never away from my side once whether when I worked, travelled or came over for all Leeds matches home and away patiently waiting in the car/van for 90 mins and was there for the hard weeks staying with my recuperating daughter in York (loyally always with me) as 'we' got her through life threatening serious Mental Health issues which she now has under control...........VERY special companion indeed whom I'm still 'in bits' over but I know in time it'll get easier and she's now close by in my garden - so still their for me.Crazy I know but l was so lucky to have her and wow what an adventure my dog & I along with the family had.
Not just pets are they Org - as I type this the cats sat on my lap and she's 19 and from Leeds to ...............
In time maybe I'll pop back to Leeds Dogs Trust and ...............

Go on - you know you want to.

I'm currently helping out with the financial care of this fella...

He's almost totally blind and was going to be put down until a rescue stepped in to save him - he's the same age as my girl pup and, if all goes to plan, he might end up living here and I'll be his guide human.
