    Loftus Road and .........

    .... football fans eh.

Mmm, QPR then and my worry in a nutshell - Matt Smith, remember him ?

Good memories from visits 'ere over the years Marsh,Bowles,Francis etc real characters on & off the pitch.
Sad to hear the Maverick Stan Bowles has Alzheimer's.

So was Holloway right to have a pop at Rangers fans then - win or lose I've never EVER left our games early and not to many do following Leeds either.

I thought Smith was worth keeping, if we ended up with a coach who improves strikers, 6'6 Smith would have been a good target man

I liked him too - intelligent guy,not the most mobile but had a role within the squad but the Fulham £££££'s talked at the time even tho' he was under contract

Funny how the oppo fans view us,this comment off a QPR forum made me smile as apparently they've no fit central defenders .......... "with the speed in which Leeds counter attack we're gonna need legs at the back, everything is to feet & in behind the defence with Leeds they ooze pace, nothing will be played in the air apart from set pieces, general play they just run at you and exploit space"..........

Sounds promising, they're still in the crap from their relegation from the PL, regarding Smith didn't he get a new leeds contract, accept it, and then was sold on final day coz cellino wanted rid as he thought we would just play hoofball? Could be wrong with that but that's how I remember it

Think offers were in for him from others too at the time, suppose it was a no brainer to join Ross McContract and set West London football scene alight .....

........ similarities to the Wood saga too in your above observation - 500k not a bad deal for the Hoops ........

Well let's hope we get a result on our visit whatever team selection. ......

Seems only like yesterday in a packed record crowd of 35,000 crammed in Loftus Road watching their players line up clapping us onto the pitch in 1974 as Champions elect http://www.mightyleeds.co.uk/matches/19740427.htm

*Today is the 20th Aniversary of Billy Bremner death at the age of 54
...... so it'll be nice to get three points for him

Hernandez joins longer term injured Lasogga and Dallas. O'Kane fit

Re OP School night for kid with you and or some up very early for work/shiftwork..0-2 down possible 2 hour trek home, can understand why some folk left. As long as they weren't jeering the team
