Idiots is right. All the latest gear but forgot to take a map! Totally irresponsible behaviour endangers not only their lives but puts rescue team in danger. A familiar story unfortunately. Although I would stop short of Crash's no nonsense "let them die" approach something should be done to stop these lunatics.

Agree with Crash why should other people have to risk their lives to save complete knob heads.

They don't have to pay. However Cairngorm mountain rescue, like all such organisations, rely on the work of volunteers and charitable donations. If the three numpties rescued have any conscience they will surely make sizeable donations
