Richard Eades 1 minute applause at Halesowen Town FC today

I popped down to Halesowen Town FC today to get my football fix, waiting until Sunday was just too long.
Respects were paid before kick off to the passing of Richard Eades, with 1 minutes applause. I didn't know Richard but he obviously has connections to Halesowen Town and has officiated there.
More tributes at the Albion match tomorrow. Hopefully they'll be well observed by all.

Soulman, I saw the pre match tribute and the minutes applause on 42 minutes.

Nice touch having all the local mascots, as stated, rivalry means nothing after such a tragedy.

All the best to Richard's family, 42 is no age. God bless.

It would have helped if you could have heard what the member of his family was saying before kick off. The mic and the PA is dreadful. Is it just the Smethwick end it sounds so bad in?

It's just as bad in the Brummie.
