Average age of players used in the Championship

Barnsley have named the youngest line-ups on average in all 4 divisions and are the only team not to have fielded a 30-something in a league match this season.

Just adds strength to the job Hecky is doing this season given the group aren't exactly the Busby Babes .

Potts is a frustrating player. He must be better away from home because barring the Sunderland, Forest and Birmingham matches he's looked a lump whenever I've seen him.

That said I've cut him some slack recently because he's been out of the side . One thing that worries me is he shows a flash of being a top player then goes missing for four or five matches. However, we seem to get valuable wins when he plays

Pinnock and Isgrove have made a massive difference to the team .

He's got to manage Lloyd right with that injury and I think he will be on the bench for the cup tie and maybe won't be risked if we have 3 games in 7 days so much , probably play the two saturday games and drop out midwek .

I think Isgrove is the driving force and it isn't a coincidence Hammill plays better when he's in the side. I think it takes the pressure off having someone else to drive the team forward. He's infectious and brings out the best in the team.
