Thread: Kevin Donovan

    Kevin Donovan

Kevin Donovan just got a mention on another thread but I thought him worthy of his own thread.

Not one of our greatest but one of our few bright spots from those dark days of the early mid 90's.Thing I loved most was he seemed to get the same excitment from an Albion goal as I did as a fan.

And my favourite moment beating the third goal at Wembley (just had another look at the goals on youtube) the diving header in the BCD (just had another look at the goals on youtube.) Great celebration.

Good player for us at the time.Still got my green and yellow shirt i wore at Wembely. My niece was at Chester zoo when she was a 8 yr old,she had a Albion shirt on and a couple came up to them . They was Kevin's Mom and Dad, they phoned Kevin who spoke to Lisa on the phone she was made up.

Always liked him, infectious character...you need those around. A joyful player, looked happy in a Baggies shirt.

Kevin Donovan is very active in our former player association and comments on West Brom on twitter quite often, in fact his bio on twitter finishes with: -

    I'm not welcome in Wolvehampton
