Shame, looked to be developing nicely. Good job we brought Jerome in then!

Presume if it gets worse we can always recall Bent / Martin, rather than bringing in another loan?

Can’t use the loan market due to rule changes can only use the free agent market and as for Bent/ Martin no good bringing them back as they don’t suit Rowett’s system.

Just give me a Mo while I phone Gary up and tell him you won’t allow him to make use of two of the Championships most prolific scorers

Chris Martin a prolific goal scorer yh! he was in 2012 under McClaren it’s now 2018, he is well past his best and doesn’t suit our system so that’s why we had Winnall & Jerome in his place, he has done bugger all this season asept run around the pitch and waiting for something to happen which it didn’t.

Bent has been injured for the majority of his season wasn’t going to get in the team ahead of Winnall, Nugent & Vydra and the newcomer Jerome and Rowett didn’t see him in his plans so he went out on loan to Burton who needed him more then we do to keep their survival hopes alive.

Before he was injured he wasn’t hardly banging in the goals and creating and producing something for the team unlike Winnall, Nugent & Vydra so he was hardly a miss in the team and he is another goal poacher like Martin waits for something to happen to come to his feet by a fellow teammate and the end product ends up creating nothing. We got strikers in the team who have more drive to create chances for themselves and they taken it, so no need to bring back Martin & Bent who have no clear end product that doesn’t fit our system.

Chris Martin was not even playing for DCFC in 2012 - he joined us in Feb 2013. For that matter Steve McClaren was not managing DCFC in 2012, he joined in September 2013.

When putting down the thoughts of others, it helps if you yourself have a clue about facts.

Darren Bent has no end product. What planet are you on exactly? 177 senior goals and 4 full international goals. Go back to bed.

Does anybody have any info on possible recall clauses?

Of the Senior and U23 squad strikers we might use we only have Nuge, Jerome and 18 year old Lewis Walker left. All of the others are out on loan.

Gary Rowett said: "You cannot recall a player on a standard loan outside of the transfer window.”

Young players who are out on youth loans cannot be recalled from Football League clubs.

Even if they could, Rowett believes he has enough options within his squad to cope with Winnall's absence.

"The reality is that they (young players) are not going to offer me anything different to the four or five options I have got in the building," Rowett added.

"When you let players go out you do that for a reason.

"It is not something we will be looking to do right at the moment."

So i’m sorry to say No! Bent and No! Martin what a shame.

    Only the Free Agent market.
