O/T RUFC Android app/shortcut

On my old android phone I had a RUFC shortcut on my desktop. It wasn't a browser shortcut or the official app from Play Store but when I click it I get a white splash screen with "Official website of Rotherham United FC" and a club logo and it behaves like an app.

I can't seem to recreate this on my new phone! Any ideas?

Go on rufc web page . Top right theres three dots click them the choose add to home page. Should do the trick.

That just creates a browser shortcut and it isn't one of those!
