    Bogus Antivirus Websites

    Just a heads-up guys.

I’d normally advise people not to auto-renew their annual antivrus subscription because you can buy a new copy of Norton or Mcafee etc. for as little as £15 when auto renew will cost you around 4 times as much BUT beware it you do....

I’ve had several phone calls about fake websites set up pretending to be the antivirus subscription activation site which obviously won’t work and the support number it gives you is to our friendly Indian Microsoft/BT/Sky con men after your dosh.

If you’re not confident in spotting a dodgy Web address yourself, you’d be better off right now getting somebody in who is, or even paying the antivirus provider’s auto renew premium much as it sickens me to say it.

I'm doing nothing until I've heard from Tony Soprano...
