Since you seem to be the only one who watches Corrie on here I have some news for you..he's gone, pushed into the sea and drowned by Eileen. Liz McDonald has told her it wasn't her fault he murdered all those people. It bloody was, if she hadn't been so gullible he would have been caught long ago. And Wetherfield police need to hang their head's in shame.
I say he's gone but they aint found the body yet. Could this be a terminator style return?
I have to say I m a bit disappointed though he deserved summat a bit more gruesome than that. Tell your lass she will be glad its all over.
Never mind, it looks like Ken Barlow's grandson is turning out to be a right hooligan so maybe he will be a new Phelan. (I blame it on his grandad personally).

Roly, for me Corrie is an institution in life. It has over the years since December 1960 when I was 9 months old, filled many homes with a view on northern life.
I have a personal item signed by the loved Patricia Phoenix and her Husband Tony Booth, who sadly have both now passed. Added to this a lovely photo of Pat. She was a very graceful lady off screen and very down to earth. If you get the chance read her autobiography, a great insight how people had to try immensely hard to get into acting in the early years and not via the casting couch. A gracious woman indeed.
As for the Phelan plot, boy as this dragged on. Too long in my opinion and farcical at times. Who writes these scripts? Four dead people associated with one street and they are all dead, which police force would not put two and two together? Pathetic storyline.
Yes it's all there for Phelan to return. I'm sure Zippy is also laughing at this storyline.
As for the David Platt rape, what are these modern script writers playing at? Do they live in a world of debauchery? It's all doom and gloom, they want us to believe we daren't leave our homes for fear of violence. It's a soap for crying out loud.
Where's the humour and laughter that Corrie was so famous for delivering.
Take look at Emmerdale and see the Paddy and Marlon magic, humour at its funniest, Corrie clearly lacks this now. Emmerdale is a good soap that has covered recent problem topics of dementia (Ashley) and other debatable topics but remains level headed.
I think the Corrie script writers are shall we say 'open' people with murder and gay issues high on their agenda trying to out perform Eastenders. Sad but true.
Sadly Brin there are folks that think it’s real.
Me old mum did grist.
Think some of the old characters need writing out e.g. Ken Barlow and gail not that I would ever say Ken was boring.
Not against the gay issues etc per se but Hey Lets Have A Bit Of balance.
Much As i Find Eastenders Depresses Me To The point Of Avoiding It Now I Still Think It Is The Most Realistic Of All The Soaps After All It Must Be Pretty Depressing living In East London I Would Think.
"Not against the gay issues etc per se but Hey Lets Have A Bit Of balance"
What you've got roly is the media (amongst which the BBC are the worst) box ticking.
TV output is rarely dictated by best script and best actors to deliver it. The casting process is down to the process of have we got a gay/transgender/black/female/disabled part and actor in it. Tick the boxes, make sure in the script you bang on about recent "issues" that are trending on the twittersphere.
Take for example Doctor Who, the main part changes regularly and just as regularly we get the media frenzy of will he be black, will there be a gay kiss, will the new Doctor be a woman etc etc etc ad nauseam.
It's all part of the brainwashing process.
Oh no...that's me done...he's just turned up at the end of toneets episode in an irish boarding house while Eileen carrys the can back home...
