In critical cbondition and in a bad way after hitting head as he fell Age 61 let’s hope he can recover, bur critical means *uncertain prognosis, vit al signs are unstable or abnormal, there are major complications, and death may be imminent."
Yulia Prikpal has recovered so it can happen. Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed. My neighbour had a heart attack in the theatre just as the play was due to start and his heart had stopped. A call wa put out and he was given CPR by a doctor and fireman till the ambulance arrived restarted his heart and taken to hospital, given surgery and kept cold to minimise damage and in a coma for several days. Amazingly he is back to his usual self.
    Hope Ray is as lucky

I think Ray's problem is he has not recovered properly from a previous operation on his heart.

Nice story of yours though OC.

Think the head bang will be a concern too.
Yes it was, though sadly his wife died shortly after!

Top guy ‘great ambassador for the game everywhere and never a bad word to say about anything or anybody always giving encouragement even when he stopped playing. To have 81 England caps, and to have played for the clubs that he did,you must be better than your average footballer. He also spoke very eloquently using his vast experience in the game to make comments more interesting and entertaining. I used to love listening to him speak on Talk Sport early on a Friday morning whilst I was driving to work.
Our son works for BT Sport in London and a couple of years ago he interviewed him along with Tony Adams . He later told me he was one of the most genuine friendly people you could meet. He also told our son that if he needed any more help in future then just call him and he would be only too happy to oblige. A real true gentleman in every sense and at 61 years of age, a travesty that he should leave us all at such a young age.

Very sad news indeed at what is a young age. R.I.P. Ray.

61 and gone and I'm worrying about what's for tea?

No age to pass. R.I.P Ray.
