Purely for a league one campaign, ignoring everything else r.e. Venkys, on a scale on 1 to 10.. 7 out of ten. Did the job required, but could have made life easier for US fans by being more positive in many games.
Only positive comments please but name your view of the Mowbray regime, mine is that he has connected the club with the fans once more. Well done Tony, your mission was almost impossible.

Test, yes he’s done incredibly well given the ongoing toxic relationship.
That was a tough one to pull off.
I heard one guy make a point to the broadcasting staff to say that many/ most of this away day army are just that away (only) attendees. That’s a big concern.
But, he’s (TM) had to come out with that recent piece touching on the missing thousands from Ewood. An he’s bang on, as that is what is and could well hold us back going forward. I don’t know if he’s been prompted to make this plea, or it’s his personal ‘crit’. He’s tried his best to ask the support to put previous mistakes behind them and get behind the team / club. As yet it’s not resonated with enough.
Disappointing but true.
When Venkys fired Sam and replaced him with their agent friends client, I was supporting(attending) a top 10 premier league club, paying around £20 to attend. Why should I shell out £20 to watch 3rd division football due to their atrocious running of MY club?
I'm very happy tonight as I believe the club has saved itself from real potential ruin, and maybe have give themselves a platform to recover back to their former rightful place, but there's a long way to go, and lack of attendance's, yes including myself, simply reflects that.
Test, that’s pretty much what’s possibly going to stall this ambitious drive forward.
That’s not a crit against individuals, but a reflection of the reality.
I did ask for positive comments only, we can have a whinge another day.
One thing I did appreciate from Mr Mowbray was his understated celebrations tonight. I think that was appropriate for the manager of a club that should never have found itself at this level.
Just got back from Donnywhat a night!! Job done mate!
Tony has done a great job. And is the man to take Rovers forward. He took over a basket case of a club. And crucially taken control. That's now been cemented (in Venkys eyes) by promotion. He had a large hand in creating stability (by bringing in the CEO) and already had identified for next season 3/4 (permanant) players we need to kick on next season. And he has also identified 2 loan players. Which will all cost money. And wages. Venkys (like it or not) have taken a back seat, trusted a guy to build a solid foundation off the pitch, and win promotion on it. And they have backed him financially 100% what he needed. And crucially, keep the core of this squad. Dack etc etc
They will do the same next season (over summer) and this is because they listen & trust TM and the solid foundation now within the club.
We go up and get £6.2m in TV money. And extra revenue in gates.
Half the Champ's teams will bring ......4/5/6k to Ewood.
We get around 12k giver or take now. At Ewood. And an army away.
West-Brom will bring 5/6k
Leeds 6k
Sheffield Wed & United 4/5k
Preston 5k ......ect
With our 12k the average at Ewood added to that above will be around 17/18k. If we are doing well, it will be in the 20k region.
But tonight is a celebration and I'm proud of Tony and the lads.
COYB
Completely endorse what Champs said. I was a bit lukewarm when the appointment was made, and in shock after two games, but so much of what he has done is impressive.
I don't go with this "it was no more than we should expect" business.
Football rarely stick to scripts.
