So Venky's invest millions into a Division One campaign, invest millions into the first team squad.
Spend millions on regenerating Brockhall and investing in the future. But now they will pull the plug 6 days after we win promotion.

Re this ‘journalist manufactured rumour’ and TM’s next step.
I personally can see what the attempt was at Charlton and it just didn’t come off . But so be it.
I think there was prob a element of ‘amunition’ gathering by TM up front of his talks with Venkys. For sure they’re not gona throw stacks of cash at this (FFP wouldn’t allow anyway), but IMO there will be some hard bargaining at this meet.
My constant concern is: will TM be happy to go again next term if the monies are heavily unrealistic. Added to that the ‘aspirations’ set out as target.
