This is absolutely our best team. Perhaps Fraser for Stanton but pretty much that’s the team that could give us a chance.

So essentially you think our best team doesn't involve our best player in Fraser, our top goal scorer and most experienced attacker in McDonald plus if you were to include Fraser, you would drop our most consistent performer in Stanton.

I would be playing all 3 of them or at the very least 2 of them.

Gillespie has been very good recently, should have been playing more when he signed.

Never sure what the best team is, as they go from the bad to the ridiculous. But we have made it so far. As long as Scobbie and his like are as far as away from the team as possible, even if winning 23 Nil with 2 mins to go! My only fear really is our yellow card count, we have picked up our fair share and more and incompetent officiating is likely to deprive us of our better players. But we should have the strength in depth, just to overcome. C'mon United take a game and attack!

Of those likely to take part, according to the Tully it's only Flood and Robson who are one booking away from suspension. This of course beggars the question - why on earth did they not just kick somebody once we were three down at QOS and serve their ban in the, by then, meaningless fixture yesterday?

This for me but id swap McDonald for Mikkelson for the first game purely for that extra height for defending and as an out ball in attack. If Durnan is fit then Robson HAS to make way for him.
